I want Kristen Bell. I want Anonymous Losers to stop stalking me. I'll settle for Kristen Bell, the stalkers never stop anyway!

It was March 2004 when I stayed up to 7 AM and got just four hours sleep when I had a great idea and wrote about 30 pages in the first night. The original story was much different than the final version that came out more than eight years later. The characters weren't as developed and it started right in 2001 during the events of 9/11 (but the story is about people in California, not NYC) rather than early childhood as it is now.

In the summer and fall of 2004 I would do a lot of editing in this novel because I ended up having a semester off from college due to becoming ill, but from 2005-07 I did not write on it much because I was working and going to school and did not have as much time. I made some minor adjustments and got advice but the main story was written back in 2004.

I did have four different people edit it in 2007-08, three friends I knew and one paid editor. The paid editor helped a lot with word choice and general ideas and my friends helped me clean it up further. But it was not until the end of 2012 that I finally put it up on the Amazon Kindle along with other novels I had written.

Of all the work I've written I'd say this is the most "traditional" in terms of plot structure. I enjoy this one quite a bit and one thing I did more recently in 2010 or so was put "myself" as "Jesse" in a very minor role without any speaking lines so I could distance myself from the main characters.
